About the RSPCB

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Beasts

In the wild, there are many endangered beasts in need of protection. Many have mistakenly been considered extinct, from dragons and sea monsters to werewolves and trolls. Their habitats are diminishing due to global warming, deforestation and urbanization, all the results of human activity. There are even humans who inflict cruelty upon beasts. All these things have to be stopped.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Beasts (RSPCB) is a worldwide organization dedicated to the welfare and protection of rare and endangered beasts. All around the world, RSPCB spotters report on beast sightings, beast activities, and beast welfare.

The headquarters of the RSPCB is at Farraway Hall. Its beast park contains a range of special beast enclosures and habitats, including an aviary for winged beasts, four climate-controlled and self-regulating bio-domes for extreme-weather beasts, enclosures for freshwater and sea beasts, as well as forest, marshland and grazing grounds. It also has a well-stocked library and state-of-the-art veterinary and research facilities dedicated to the science of cryptozoology.
